This morning the kindergarten classes relived the "First Thanksgiving" by enjoying a feast. Each class was responsible for bringing different food items such as summer sausage, cheese, crackers, fruits, and veggies. The kids were asked to dress as an Indian or Pilgrim. So, we recruited some help to get an Indian dress made for the occassion. Thanks Nina! The dress really turned out great...Haleigh was very proud of it. This is a picture of her and her best friend. Wow, it's so hard to believe that Thanksgiving is next week! I'm ready...I've taken off work to spend some time with the kids since they're out of school all week. We really have a lot to be thankful for but I guess I'd have to say that my family and the health of my family is probably what I'm most thankful for. I thank God everyday for giving me the family I have been blessed with and for our good health. We are very fortunate.
