Recent Happenings

Sorry it's taken me so long to post. We're going strong...as always.
Hannah has been getting ready for braces and the time has finally arrived! She had an expander installed in the roof of her mouth to correct her crossbite and a few brackets along the front. She is very proud of her "braces". Recently, her school held their spelling bee and Hannah was one of 26 kids (3rd & 4th grade) selected to participate. She did very well...I think she made it down to the final six. Lane & Kyler (who we also go to church with) were also selected to represent their classes and Kyler even won 3rd place. Way to go!
Haleigh had her first softball practice on Sunday afternoon. She's been ready and waiting for softball season. Last year she wasn't too sure about it but I think it's going to be different this year. She has a little competitive bone in her.
Hunter sure has gotten active. He's so curious these days. He is pulling up to and getting into everything. The sad face is because I wouldn't let him have my camera. He loves his Johnny Jumper...he's figured out how to swing himself in it. It's so cute!
Well...it's getting close to gardening season...and we're going to try a garden this year. We've had some successful gardens in the past, but we haven't had a garden since we moved to the country. Shawn went this week to get seed and all the stuff to get them started growing. We're going to grow (hopefully) squash, okra, cucumbers, green beans, various peppers, sunflowers, green onions, watermelon, and tomatoes. We'll see if his thumb is still green. LOL!
